I first met Lori and Tommy on a blustery day in Philadelphia when we did their engagement shots. A few months later and they have tied the knot! Congratulations to this wonderful couple…I wish them a long life together filled with health, happiness, and prosperity!
Here are just a few shots for them to peek at before they leave for their honeymoon!

- Bob and Joan were married!
50 years later, on September 11, 2010…
- The average new house house cost $235,000
- The average personal income is $52,029
- Gas is $2.59/gallon
- Barak Obama has become the 44th President of the United States of America (that’s a whole topic for another blog entry, another day!!)
- Bob and Joan celebrated 50 years of wedded happiness!!
On Saturday September 11, 2010 Joan and Bob gathered their family to celebrate their wedding anniversary. They brought together three sons, a daughter, two daughters-in-law, and seven beautiful grandchildren to celebrate a legacy that they started in 1960 – fifty years ago! In a small, intimate service, Bob and Joan renewed their vows to love, honor, and cherish….
Congratulations to Joan and Bob, as well as the rest of this beautiful clan, for having lived through “better and worse” for the past 50 years, and for having provided what seems to me to be a strong foundation for your future generations! I wish you many more wonderful years of health and happiness, and I thank you for allowing me to be a small part in your celebration!
Originally the title of this entry was “First Wedding”. I quickly realized that for Charline and Larry it should be the only wedding and I did not want to curse the beginning of this beautiful marriage. What I meant is that, as a photographer, I have now completed my first wedding. I did it myself…no second shooter…and my hat’s off to those who do this full time. It’s no easy challenge!! I’m glad I did this one for a variety of reasons, and I look forward to the next one.
Charline and her sisters were a funny, laid back, relaxed (I guess that’s redundant, but I’m trying to stress the point) bridal party. Fortunately for me there was not the slightest bit of bridezilla syndrome! The ceremony was conducted in a small pagoda by a pond…a beautiful setting!! The reception was relatively small, but with a great group of people….these folks knew how to party and have fun!! I’m still working on the images and have many to go, but here’s a sample.
To Charlene and Larry – Congratulations and best of luck!!! I hope you enjoy a long, happy, healthy, and prosperous life together, and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of its beginning!
